 I am a feature writer, with an engineering/healthcare background, who writes about health, lifestyle, culture and living overseas for both print and online publications. My expat pieces have appeared in The Weekly Telegraph (UK) and Destinations magazine (Holland). I have also contributed news and opinion pieces to The Irish Times (Ireland). I wrote and researched a piece on internet dating for The Kilkenny Voice (Ireland), on dealing with Christmas Supermom Syndrome for Health Today (Philippines) and on having babies for Moms & Babies Magazine (Philippines). I acquired an in-depth knowledge of Henrik Ibsen, Oslo's museums, the history of Oslo and a multimedia show called 'Dreamweaver', for the benefit of readers of Oslo City Guide (Norway). I have also written about the technical aspects of the beauty and cosmetic surgery industry for SpaBeauty Magazine (Norway). In Oct 2008, I covered the state visit to Norway of the Irish president, Mary McAleese, for The Irish Times. I regularly contribute articles on health, fitness and beauty to The Living Journal (Malaysia), a consumer magazine distributed to customers of the Vitacare chain of chemists.

I have been writing features since 2001 while living in Singapore, Manila, Oslo, and Kuala Lumpur. I currently live in Perth, Australia.
